PURE FARM (Pur Projet)

Hello,

With my Sherpa Buddy Camille, we had the chance this week to discover the Pure Farm, a small experimental farm in the region of Chiang Mai, Thaïland.

Pure Farm is an initiative of Pur Projet whose objective is to help companies and small producers in developing social - environmental projects. Pur Projet was created by Tristan Lecomte, founder of Alter Eco, a pionneer company in fair trade.

We discovered with great interest during our visit at the Pure Farm some agro -ecological techniques by working with producers, like SRI, (System of Rice Intensification).

We were received by Balthazar, a 18 years french guy, volunteer at the Pure Farm and commited to sustainable development.

A big thank you to Balthazar for his hospitality and generosity. Such a deep immersion would not have been possible without its proximity to producers and translation skills.
