The association Feeding the 5000 is born in 2009 when Tristram Stuart, an english food activist decided to prove to all the population, companies, politics that it is possible to feed 5000 persons in Trafalgar Square with only products that would have been wasted… And he did it ! Since this event, a lot of Feeding the 5000 events have been organized in the world to sensitize people, and the food waste topic became a very important one. You have to know that 1/3 of the global production is wasted !
